Captain Scrag

This was a project for Digital Illustration class. Our only requirement was to create a cyborg. We could use any combination of 3D programs or Photoshop to achieve our vision. I attended a Zbrush workshop, taught by game artist Stephen G. Wells, and found that I preferred Zbrush to Mudbox. Captain Scrag, the cyborg sphinx cat, is my first in-depth Zbrush sculpt. I sculpted the bust in Zbrush and modeled the screws and eyepiece in Maya, and then comped his armor and gun from modified images. I added in the background image and extra details in Photoshop to finish the concept.
